We will be performing server upgrades and apply security patches to some of our reseller servers tonight. Servers will require a reboot, so all websites and email hosted on the servers will be temporarily be unavailable while rebooting. We estimate downtime of no more than 10-15 mins.
We have resolved the issue. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
RS2-JHB is currently unresponsive. We are investigating the cause with the highest priority.
We will be rebooting all shared hosting servers to apply security updates. Estimated downtime is 15 minutes per server.

Update 9:23 - During routine server maintenance, some sectors on the primary data drive was corrupted. Our engineers are currently restoring the data from a remote replica of the drive. Update: Maintenance started. Servers being shut down.
A cooling fan in one of our host servers has failed and needs to be replaced. The following servers will be affected by the planned downtime.
- ent-jhb (business hosting)
- waf-jhb (web application firewall)
- relay-jhb (cPanel mail exchanger)
All services (web, email etc.) will be unavailable during the maintenance period. Downtime should not exceed 30-40 minutes.
We are aware of an outage on the following server where some websites are not loading: cms-cpt1.web-guru.co.za
This is currently being investigated, we will have an update shortly.
UPDATE: The issue has been resolved
There was a critical power outage at the Johannesburg data center where our managed cPanel VPS's are hosted. Customers on our managed VPS servers will not be able to access their websites/email.

Power was restored and data center engineers are currently booting the servers back up.
